Prof. Jiby Varghese, the Executive Director of UKF college of Engineering and Technology, hails from Angamaly, a premier town in Ernakulum District of the state of Kerala. With a teaching experience of more than 22 years, he held the position as the HOD & CEO of Science and Technology Park and Research Center ,FISAT . As a PG holder in Applied Electronics, he has to his credit many proven records in Engineering education and Innovative Technical field . His broad over view and expertise marked the creation of India’s first mobile fab lab under his guidance and number of Entrepreneurship clubs and startups. His resourcefulness has made him achieve the best teacher award multiple times and is the recognized academic consultant by the govt. of Kerala. Being the coordinator for various academic, technical and social activities, he initiated an inclusive training for differently abled students and special educators. His versatility in organizing state and national level seminars and conferences is highly accepted. In the time of the Kerala floods, almost 150+ houses were renovated, and more than 10 houses were newly constructed. Till date, in association with various projects, almost 23+ houses have been constructed. Additionally, he is the president of Arivu Educational Charitable Society Trust, the secretary of Angamali Municipal Residential Association, and has served as a member of the planning board of Angamali Municipality.The potential skills of leadership, motivation, and perseverance is evident in multi-faceted dimensions of professional activities.
